Hoppy Easter

Well, I have been busy lately which has meant no blogging for me but hey what's new!
So anyway the school term is almost finished and I have been a busy Mummy making up 24 of these wonderful Easter Treat Cones for Rhyley's classmates.

To make these adorable treat cones I used the following:

Treat Cone Template
Hoppy Easter Elements & Papers
Lightweight cardstock
Glue tape runner
Tissue paper
Ribbon

I printed all the treat cones and elements for the front and cut them all out by hand then I followed MissMint's tutorial on how to assemble these treats and filled them all with a small hollow egg, m&m's and candy-coated mini easter eggs before tying with ribbon.
They were easy to make once I got the hang of shaping them and I had heaps of fun doing it too!

Anyway that is not all I been up to I have been busy scraping to and add 4 new layouts to the count for this year here they are:

We celebrated Earth Hour this year so I decided to scrap this photo I took of Rhyley during our hour with NO lights. This layout and the next were both selected for Mintspirational Monday :)

This layout is of Snoopy trying to get a small piece of chocolate
(I would like to mention we don't allow the dogs to have chocolate all the time and if they do get some it is a very small piece. We are completely aware that chocolate can kill dogs in large amounts)

Heading to Ballina

Well it is like 2am here at the moment and I am supposed to be in bed.
But alas I can not sleep so I will share with you my latest layouts and hybrid projects.

We are heading down to Ballina in the morning to drop Rhyley off at Nanny and Poppy's for his holiday before we join him on Christmas Eve.
So I may actually have time over the next week and half to do some layouts.
Well I guess I should go and try and get some sleep before our trip.

It's Here

The weekend is finally here!
Today Jason let me have a sleep which was lovely. After I got my butt out of bed I joined Jason and Rhyley in the lounge, they were watching Transformers yet again for like the millionth time.
I swear I am going to hide it so they can't watch it for a while.
I know it's mean but seriously if they keep watching it at this rate they will wear it out lol.

So after the movie I decided to do so digi-scrapping and got another new page:

Monday-itis!

It's Monday and I am feeling blah!
No amount of coffee is going to jump start me today.

So I decided to start a little hybrid gift for my cousin who's baby is due in December.
I thought it would be nice to make her a jar of tickets which have all of baby's first milestones written on them and a place for the date.
I did all the tickets in PSE6 and printed out a test sheet and if I do say so myself they turned out fantastic, I then printed them on to cardstock and now all I have to do is cut them all out!, decorate and label the jar and I have made a quick yet cute gift for her to remember all those precious moments in her baby's life.

After this I cleaned up the house and still feeling blah decided to have a little nap since I didn't have to pick up Rhyley for a few hours.
I have to say the nap really did the trick I woke from it feeling alot better and ready to see my little man to find out how his day was.
