Change....

Well hello there...

I know, I know yet again I have neglected my poor, poor blog.

I swear if my blog was a friend it would probably never want to speak with me again 

(or at least not for a very long time lol.)

Well they say change is as good as a holiday but I beg to differ. 
In the last few months we have had so much change, we've changed address (a nightmare in itself there especially trying to find rentals in Mackay), Jason change jobs 3 times (he just started a new and better job 2 weeks ago so hopefully there will be NO more for a while), our family dynamics are changing too - Jason's new job will take him away from home during the week which means it'll just be me and the boy (a big change but we've done it before, so I'm confident it won't be a problem).


Other than these changes in the last few months I have completed my Certificate II in Retail, been looking and applying for part-time work, looking for a new rental property, packing up our stuff, moving out of our old house/into our new house, taking Rhyley to Maths tutoring, Easter, school holidays, a return train trip to Bundaberg (10 loooonnnnng hours each way) to celebrate my Pop's 90th (yes, it's quiet a milestone!), watching Rhyley march at the ANZAC day parade and so much more it is actually making me sleepy just thinking about it all.

So as you can imagine blogging has been the last thing I've had time for, I haven't really 
had the time to scrap either or the desire.
But I managed to put the following pages together over the past few months:

Hoppy Easter

Well, I have been busy lately which has meant no blogging for me but hey what's new!
So anyway the school term is almost finished and I have been a busy Mummy making up 24 of these wonderful Easter Treat Cones for Rhyley's classmates.

To make these adorable treat cones I used the following:

Treat Cone Template
Hoppy Easter Elements & Papers
Lightweight cardstock
Glue tape runner
Tissue paper
Ribbon

I printed all the treat cones and elements for the front and cut them all out by hand then I followed MissMint's tutorial on how to assemble these treats and filled them all with a small hollow egg, m&m's and candy-coated mini easter eggs before tying with ribbon.
They were easy to make once I got the hang of shaping them and I had heaps of fun doing it too!

Anyway that is not all I been up to I have been busy scraping to and add 4 new layouts to the count for this year here they are:

We celebrated Earth Hour this year so I decided to scrap this photo I took of Rhyley during our hour with NO lights. This layout and the next were both selected for Mintspirational Monday :)

This layout is of Snoopy trying to get a small piece of chocolate
(I would like to mention we don't allow the dogs to have chocolate all the time and if they do get some it is a very small piece. We are completely aware that chocolate can kill dogs in large amounts)

Ummm....

Wow the first week of school has already finished granted it was only a three day week but still it flew by and we are already nearing the end of Week 2!
So since school has gone back I haven't time to scrap much partly because I have been trying to go to bed early which means I'm not up 'til all hours scraping away!

Anyway today while Rhyley's was at school I had some spare time and decided to open up Photoshop Elements and get to scraping and here's the page I did.

Things are getting busy....

Wow things are about to get really busy for us here.
Christmas is rapidly approaching and with end of school activities, appointments, Carols by Candlelight, school holidays, visiting Grandma and Grandpa, aunties and uncles and Great Nanna, travelling and finally Christmas we are going to have a full on 5 weeks!
